Primary Responsibilities:
- Work on RFP responses for business in our sales pipeline
- Work on the actual implementations (end-to-end) as contracts close
- Own the design so you will need to be accountable for the details around it
- Our team is based in our Hartford, CT and Plymouth, MN offices and may travel as needed to support the Sales and Implementation activities
- Option to telecommute for employees that have the proper skillset and drive
- Serve in a dual role capacity - either as an individual contributor and/or technical team lead depending on the engagement
- Lead, influence, and mentor technical team
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of overall IT experience providing client facing solutions and management consulting expertise
- 5+ years of focused experience in an infrastructure discipline
- 4+ years of experience in a technical architecture/solutions role
- 2+ years in IT project or program delivery
- A strong understanding J2EE and database integration, messaging queuing, virtualized server delivery, network load balancing & firewalls, highly available & geo-diverse configurations, and experience with the evolving cloud strategies
- Focused experience in multiple infrastructure disciplines
- Understanding of enterprise application architecture design patterns and how they translate into infrastructure deployments
- Willing and able to travel as needed around up to 25% in the U.S.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivilent IT work experience
