Industrial Electrician - Full-time / Part-time

An Aerotek client has an immediate need for an Industrial Electrician in the St. Charles, MO area.

Job Description

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Installing/assembling and testing all electrical wiring, electronics, appliances, and fixtures on customized trailers and other products.

A big part of the job will be installing Electrical components and testing to ensure functionality, but team members will be asked to help out in other areas as well.

Ideal candidates will be mechanically inclined enought to assist with the installation and assembly of all components of the customized products.

Prefer candidates with multiple skills, who can perform as a "Jack of all trades."

This is a work environment where no team member is above any job, and everyone helps out with even the simplest of tasks.

Candidates looking for a straight, cut and dry, traditional Electrician job will not be a good fit.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience with Electrical installation and maintenance in an industrial setting.

Experience working with a wide variety of equipment.

Ideal candidates will posses multiple skills, and will be willing/able to assist in other areas, which may inlude the following: welding, carpentry, painting, HVAC, or mechanical installations.

Candidates will need to be knowledgeable in the following:

-Detailed blueprint/schematic reading
-Read tape measure
-Use of air and electric hand tools
-Basic steel and aluminum fabrication
-Basic torch/plasma cutting
-12-Volt/24-Volt Electrical
-Basic interior finishes (i.e. carpet, tile, floor coverings etc).
-Basic hydraulics
-Residential and industrial electrical knowledge
-Understanding of NEC
-Experience 208 3-ph, 440 3-ph and 120/240 1 ph electrical applications
-Experience /understanding in wire sizing and requirements
-Conduit installation
-Service panel/motor starter and transfer switch installation
-Safe operation of forklift
-Safe operation of lifts
