A consumer and industrial products company is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join their team!
This Inventor Designer will be responsible for design, and prints for new test stands and fixtures. They will work with the engineering team to execute the scope of work and design review. Will primarily be on Inventor 95% of the day, the other 5% will be on the floor troubleshooting for manufacturing.
Need design support for start from scratch work for a new project, some will be taking current drawings and repackaging into new title block. Transfer Inventor to AutoCAD. No schematic type design on electrical components.
Top Three Skills: Inventor, Designer, Tooling and Fixturing
Work Environment: A small company based in Westfield, Indiana. It's a small office environment with manufacturing and testing in the back. They build small test stands for clients such as internet modem testers for Comcast.
MUST HAVES: 5+ years experience in design and Inventor
Placement Type: 3 month contract but could lead to permanent position
Pay Rate: $22-26/hour
