Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

Manpower is currently hiring an Assembler for one of our clients in Houston, TX!

Main Responsiblities:

Primarily prepares component level and simple assembly items for shipment.

Also responsible for the following duties.

Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.

Assembles bill-of-material items.

Counts product to ensure correct quantity.

Inspects and tests product as required.

Boxes or bags products as required.

Affixes labels to product.

Insures completeness of paperwork.

Forwards completed orders to shipping department.

Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly issues.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Good mathematical skills.

Able to lift items not more than 50lbs.

Ability to deal and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Additional Details:

Length of Contract: 6 months
