Furniture store in Scottsdale looking for a Team t Lead on thei Product Placement team

Summary
In this key position the Product Placement Lead is responsible for every aspect of the Product Processing SOP, starting with building and leading their team to greatness. The goal is to exceed company expectations and to keep the entire store "Grand Opening" ready" at all times. This is accomplished by building and developing team members through the execution of Foundational Excellence (SOP, Talent, and Leadership).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Training - Ensure that all Product Placement Team members have completed training and demonstrate the ability to effectively execute to company expectations all new hire and ongoing training modules. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
  • Store/Department Experience - Ensure that the store is "Grand Opening" ready by overseeing all aspects of merchandising, visual, labeling, service tech, and janitorial. Ensure that Daily Task Lists are completed.
  • Customer Engagement - Ensure that all Product Placement Team Members are engaging customers throughout the store. Ensure that customers have a positive CPU experience.
  • Product Flow - Ensure that all product is being moved according to status. Ensure that all product on the sales floor and in the warehouse is properly inventoried. Manage all control locations and merchandising reports daily.
  • Warehouse and CPU - Ensure that all racks are organized and free of hazards Ensure that CPU is ready with product that is received, separated, clean, and organized.
  • Assessment - Able to identify current reality by completing accurate monthly assessments of people, processes, and product according to the current monthly assessment rhythm.
  • SOP - Adhere to all company standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Complete other duties assigned at the discretion of management.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One year of retail experience "Big Box" establishment preferred.
  • Supervisory experience highly preferred.
