Production Supervisor

• Holds safety in high regard, follows all safety rules for equipment and general warehouse operations. Takes responsibility for own safety by acting in a safe manner at all times. Takes responsibility for the safety of their team by calling out unsafe behavior on the spot.
• Actively participates in and acts as a champion and leader for the LEAN management program, striving to increase efficiency and eliminate waste.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Direct and Manage shift operations for production, quality, shipping and receiving.
• Coordinate shift activities with all departments to ensure cmpany objectives are acheived in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Accountable for 5-7 direct reports. Must manage daily work flow, productivity, supervision, discipline, motivation and performance of all employees on shift.
• Provide leadership and training to achieve company goals in safety, performance and profitability.
• Provide clear communication as needed to support new and current business opportunities.
• Ensure that warehouse is up to company standard on a daily basis, including but not limited to daily cleaning and inspections.

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Five years of warehouse operations experience
• One to three years of management, supervisory or leadership experience

Phyiscal Abilities

Candidate must be able to frequently lifet and/or move up to 50lbs, twist, bend, and climb and will frequently be required to stand for the duration of their shift. Candidate must be phsyically able to operate heavy equipment and to work in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time.

Knowldege and Skills

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Candidate must exhibit an attention to detail in all aspects of the job. Ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required. Must be able to read, comprehend and complete checklists, daily paperwork, and other documents. Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and regulations is required. Supervisor will be able to identify and resolve problems both in operations and with staff in a timely and effective manner, and will respond to customer needs promptly and professionally. Must be able to balance team and individual responsibilities and consistently be at work on time.
