About this job

  • College degree preferred with concentration in Sales/Marketing, Business or Communication or equivalent job experience of 10 years.
  • Proven track record in maintaining significant customer relationships with focus at the executive level. Requires creative, relentless, customer focused individual with 5+ years of national account management experience interacting at the Executive Level.
  • Print and mail industry experience strongly preferred with prior personal successful sales experience. Experience with sales and service to Fortune 500 companies strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated tenacity and flexibility in customer interaction. Ability to negotiate and maintain required position, as well as compromise and adapt when needed. Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up are critical.
  • Professional presentation and interpersonal skills. Must possess top level business management and acumen along with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time with minimal notification.

National Account Manager

Impact

As a National Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic contacts, building enterprise awareness, increasing customer satisfaction, controlling and growing profitability while continuing to expand the scope of Named National Account relationships. The number of National Account assignments will be based on account/relationship complexities, current state revenue and growth potential. The National Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships at all levels of named National Accounts and ensure view as "Trusted Advisor". This position is Remote.

The Job

  • Lead and coordinate the team, including when necessary, Marketing and Sales, Administration and Operations to ensure faultless continuation of services and solutions.
  • In conjunction with the Executive Staff, Regional Sales Managers, General Managers and Sales Executives, continually develops and updates Account Profiles of Named National Accounts ensuring all activities, relationship touch-points, PB activities, etc., are documented and account strategies are implemented.
  • Ensures understanding of customer's business processes, issues and requirements. Builds customer loyalty at the executive level of named National Accounts.
  • Monitors and evaluates required reporting to assure volumes, pricing and quality are appropriate and customer problem/issues are resolved and service level expectations are met.
  • Targets consistency of high quality service throughout our operating center network, identifying shortcomings in services and serves as the client advocate reporting such issues to the Director, Enterprise Account Management.
  • Prepares and conducts presentations providing customized solutions, resolution of issues and solidifying partnership. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant industry influencers, i.e., associations and consultants that will benefit account strategies.
  • Develops and negotiates an effective contract strategy that is measured by the preservation and protection of existing contracts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
