Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a caring and compassionate CAREGiver to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the life of an aging senior in our community. You would be part of a team that provides a variety of non-medical services allowing an aging senior to remain in her home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. We are changing the face of aging!
One Female CAREGiver Wanted for two specific shifts. Every Friday evening 4pm - 10pm and Sunday 8am - 4pm.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
One Female CAREGiver Wanted for two specific shifts. Every Friday evening 4pm - 10pm and Sunday 8am - 4pm.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Aphasia and Parkinson's
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Hold current valid MN driver’s license and valid auto insurance
- Possess fluent English language skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to lift, push, pull & carry 50-80 lbs infrequently
- Ability to reach above shoulder level
