Position Summary:

Work with technical staff, other employees, and customers. Under supervision, the person will schedule, route and assign work orders in a timely manner.

Schedule; TBD, will include 1 weekend day

Essential Job Function:

Schedule, route and assign work orders in a timely manner.

Prepares monthly departmental reports and submits to supervisor.

Promotes good customer relations through telephone contact within compliance of established company policies and procedures.

May communicate pertinent information including customer service issues, outages, etc., to other systems.

Inform supervisor as necessary.

Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.

Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.

Provide ARRIS administration support.

Move/route workforce according to customer demand and forecast

Manage forced-in work orders and unassigned work orders.

May communicate pertinent information including customer service issues and emergency outages etc. to other systems.

Effective listening skills to ensure understanding of instructions and directions.

Effectively communicate processes and problems to co-workers and management.

Travel may be required to attend work related meeting and training sessions

May be required to work a flexible schedule that provides needed coverage

Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment.

May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required. (Respond to text messages, Phone availability, Issue trak tickets)

Education:

High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)

Experience / Skills Required;

Typing

Computer Applications

Customer Relations

Routing

Issue Trak

ARRIS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Preferred Qualifications;

ICOMS billing system knowledge.

Previous dispatching experience including routing - preferred.
