Warehouse Attendant

Express Employment is looking for a Warehouse Attendant for a great company in Carpentersville!

Responsibilities or Duties:
Remove material from transit area, place in row or stage for shipment, assign location in SAP.
Select product from pick ticket and stage for shipment.
Load and unload trucks complying with all customer and legal requirements. Prepare shipping documentation.
Consolidate inventory so that all of the same product is in the same or approximate location as identified in SAP.
Review product for damage and against the purchase order. Report any damaged product or short shipments to the supervisor.
Spot check weights as required.
Label incoming materials as needed.
Perform cycle counts.
Issue material to production. Record usage in SAP.
Return to inventory any unused material from productions. Relabel and assign storage location if needed.
Dispose of empty containers.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Comply with all safety requirements resulting in zero safety violations.
Participate in all safety related activities including but not limited to safety talks, behavioral based safety observations and compliance audits.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain good attendance habits missing minimal work.
Display a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 55 pounds.
Able to stand or walk 4-6 hours per shift.
Able to sit 1-3 hours per shift.
Able to climb stairs 1-3 hours per shift.
Able to perform range of motion from floor to over head.
Able to operate a tow motor and floor sweeper.
Able to use a computer, calculator, gram scale.
Able to work overtime as scheduled.
Able to follow and execute both verbal and written work instructions.
Medically cleared to wear a respirator.
Education, Skill, or Knowledge Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Possesses basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiple, divide)

Shift: 1st Shift, M-F 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Pay: $14/hr
