Customer Service (Bilingual Experience Highly Preferred) - Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Handle the day-to-day data entry and other program assignments as determined by supervisor. Provides consistent customer service support to all stakeholders of services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Enter data into the secured program application/database in the appropriate timeframes as required by the program Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/Program Specific Procedures (PSP), and perform quality control checks of all information that is entered

Handle inbound and outbound contacts from various sources (patients, healthcare providers, etc.) related to a specific program. In-take of enrollment forms from patients, healthcare professionals, or other sources.

Provide consistent customer service support to all stakeholders for the assigned program. Working knowledge of program guidelines, medication, or disease being referenced in call scripts.

Conduct communication through various channels (phone, fax, email) to retrieve data or to address discrepancies in data received. Apply corrections and/or updates to the secured program applications and appropriate documents, that have been identified through data verification or follow up calls

Escalate potential problems or issues that require management's immediate attention and provide a summary with appropriate detail to his/her direct leader. Document all communications in the appropriate application contact log in an accurate, concise, and timely manner as defined in the SOP/PSP.

Ensure data entry, filing, and data confirmation are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma

  • 1 year of customer service experience * Solid MS office abilities and knowledge paired with working knowledge of how database applications function. Critical Thinking skills to balance multiple priorities.
  • MS Excel abilities (intermediate level); Customer Service Phone Skills; Understanding of how database applications function.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous Call Center experience within a HealthCare environment * Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish & English) is highly preferred
