Job Description:
Candidate will be working in assembly department building hand built shock compressors for industrial machines. Here is what the client writes:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific duties include:
1. Ability to inspect and evaluate parts during the assembly process for defects.
2. Ability to set-up and operate various presses, gauges and other mechanical tooling.
3. Ability to work under normal supervision.
4. Follow the instruction of your supervisor/lead and perform whatever task you may be assigned.
5. May be assigned other duties as required depending on workload. Work Environment: Manufactures industrial shocks for machinery. These shocks are produced manually and still require a lot of skill and patience. Good work environment. Qualifications: Candidate must be able to use assembly instructions and BOMs to build custom shocks. Will be trained but must have capacity to learn to use tools to build units. Client's JD:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the company.
2. Must possess a working knowledge of basic math and be able to read procedures.
3. Ability to understand Engineering drawing. Performance Expectations: Will test run our people to see if they can perform the job and work well in the small assembly group. Best candidates will learn to use the assembly instructions to assemble a variety of products. Interview Information: Will interview with (President). They are looking for sharp person that can stay with them for a long time. Additional Compensation: N/A Additional Information: Shift is 6am - 230pm, monday - friday. This position is due to a person leaving.
