This position is responsible
for leading working sessions with business end users to document current state
business processes/interactions on data assets that are planned for
retirement.  This role will collaborate
across the UDW Asset Retirement Readiness Effort team (other UDW business
analysts, technical developers, project managers, and IT generalists) by
sharing best practices and supporting efforts to redesign/revise processes as
these opportunities emerge.  This
resource will be responsible for the identification and documentation of final
business requirements in the form of values, functions, and qualities.  The resource may also partner with the
technical team as a business product owner to ensure proposed technical
solutions meet the needs of the business.  




Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects
    supporting the Unified Data Warehouse (UDW).  
  • Collaborates with business teams to document current state
    business processes to identify and document business requirements for data
    migration to UDW.
  • Uses project management tools to ensure project
    requirements are communicated, understood, and executed within desired
    timelines.
  • Represents business resources in solution and delivery
    sessions to support project implementation. 
    Supports the business resources with tools, such as requirements and
    solution documents, project plans, and RAIDQs to manage their implementation
    plans.
  • Researches, investigates, and analyses process and data to
    support project scoping and planning.
  • Coordinates with technology delivery teams to ensure
    technology and process changes and timing are in alignment, including
    management and oversight for the execution of UAT process.
  • Leads and facilitates meetings with key resources to ensure
    all impacts are being addressed and implementation is on target.
  • Supports business areas when roadblocks are encountered and
    aids in successful removal of obstacles (escalating where appropriate).
  • Communicates and reports on overall implementation status
    to project and functional leadership.
  • Post-deployment - identify any issues and coordinate with
    stakeholders to remediate the issue(s) timely and accurately.





Requirements



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's
    Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of
    project management and business analysis experience
  • Demonstrated
    experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Proficient
    with MS PowerPoint and Word to prepare presentation decks
  • Proficient
    with MS Visio 


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Project Management
    certification is desired
  • Background
    working in the health care or insurance field is desired
  • Data
    analysis and testing using SQL, SAS, or other data management BI tools preferred
  • Experience
    in data analytics with exposure to the technical system deployments preferred
  • Understanding
    of internal controls and data quality standards preferred
