We are searching for an organized and proactive Marketing Coordinator, with a few years' experience in a marketing or related field. This is a dynamic position, which assists members of the marketing team on multiple marketing initiatives. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Coordinate the creation, production and distribution of all menu materials and Point of Purchase (P.O.P.) materials for approximately 200 individual restaurants
Negotiate pricing with external printing partners and hardware suppliers
Manage relationships with multiple external vendors (such as graphic designers, printing companies, and advertising agencies) and internal departments
Manage marketing department budget and financial reporting documents
Coordinate marketing related budget requests and adjustments with accounting and finance departments
Review/proof read layouts of new menus, P.O.P. materials, and all other printed marketing materials
Participate in development and execution of promotions on the marketing calendar. Opportunity to lead smaller-scale initiatives.
Lead marketing initiatives to support marketing calendar or broader marketing agenda, involving internal resources and outside agency partners
Purchase and manage inventory of all marketing materials
Maintain internal ordering websites used by restaurant general managers and Rubio's corporate team members
Provide marketing support for restaurant remodels and new restaurant openings
Address requests and needs from restaurant general managers related to menus, P.O.P., and other marketing materials and hardware.
Lead or assist with project requests from internal corporate departments
Evaluate current and potential vendor partners
Maintain and update delivery partner menus
Organize various tracking reports
General administrative needs of the marketing department
Miscellaneous Projects / Programs
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience: 2-3 years marketing or agency experience
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office applications. Experience navigating the internet and company websites.
Language Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership experience, takes initiative to develop ideas and drive for results, creative problem solver, and analytic skills
Math Skills: Basic math skills.
Other Skills: Ability to alphabetize and organize files accurately.
Reasoning Abilities: Ability to use good judgment and focus on repetitive tasks.
Other Abilities: Ability to manage multiple priorities at once, strong organizational and planning skills, detail orientation, negotiation skills, quantitative aptitude
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Typically requires sitting, standing, walking, and/or stooping for extended periods of time. Will require ability to sit in front of a computer terminal for periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
