Wilber Hardee opened the first Hardee's restaurant in Rocky Mount, NC in 1960. Today, Hardee's is a favorite in the Midwest and South for its famous 'Thickburgers'- hearty 1/3, 1/2 and 2/3 pound burgers made with 100% Angus beef, served with a variety of toppings, such as the 'Frisco Thickburger' and the 'Jalapeno Thickburger.' Hardee's is also famous for its made-from-scratch breakfast biscuits, introduced in the 1970s, and which are still a favorite of many today.
Boddie-Noell Enterprises is the largest franchisee of Hardee's restaurants in the United States, with over 300 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky.
Job Purpose: To develop, support and lead the restaurant team. To be accountable for sales growth by maintaining the highest standards of quality, service and cleanliness with constant focus on profitability.
Job Functions:
  • Interview and hire adequate staff to operate the restaurant based on company standards and in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Schedule sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow.
  • Control payroll to meet company labor cost standard.
  • Train the management team and crew using current company training system. Evaluate performance at company designated intervals. Design a development plan with each employee to improve performance.
  • Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management team and crew. Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as warranted.
  • Conduct crew and management team meetings as needed to discuss operation procedures, promotions, safety, security, training, etc.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of products and items necessary to operate the restaurant. Control inventory to meet company GAP standard.
  • Maintain reports and records based on company standards and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Responsible for all cash. Ensure that cash procedures are adhered to. Ensure personal appearance meets company standard and displays professionalism at all times.
  • Ensure all sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures are recognized and enforced to ensure a safe environment for all.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Sr./District Manager and at all times represent Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. as a professional in every aspect of performance.
