Positions in this function use advanced statistical and inferential analysis
programs to provide specialized data analysis. Organizes, sorts and filters
data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends. Develops and
maintains data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and
has experience in creating complex data mining algorithms. Selects, recommends
and applies appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques
to execute against an analysis plan or research objectives. Evaluates new
analytics tools and methodologies for possible deployment. creates data
warehouses/marts and/or develops data mining analyses to support business
decisions





Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Gather and analyze business requirements
  • Architect/Design Data Warehouse infrastructure and solutions
  • Develop technical specifications and design documents
  • Develop, enhance, integrate Data Warehouses/Data Marts and Business
    Intelligence Solutions
  • Test Data Warehouses/Data Marts
  • Deploy and Maintain Data Warehouses/Data Marts 
  • Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and complete artifacts,
    including solution design support
  • Validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team; provide
    suggestions and recommendations
  • Lead internal review sessions with all levels, including senior leadership
  • Document, discuss and resolve business, data and reporting issues within the
    team, across functional teams, and with business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams regarding
    enhancements, changes, issues and defects that may impact development, data,
    workflow and/or functionality
  • Perform data analysis, using in-depth knowledge of relational databases and healthcare
    data
  • Present written and verbal data analysis findings, to both the project team and
    business stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate with many levels of the organization, business
    stakeholders/SME, project managers, developers, system architects, quality
    assurance, operations, etc
  • Ability to deliver quality work, delivered on a tight schedule, and across
    multiple concurrent assignments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
This position is located in Eden Prairie, MN or Green Bay, WI.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • 3+ years
    of Healthcare Business Analyst
    experience working in large, complex, matrix organization
  • 3+ years of
    data analysis / profiling) and source-to-target mapping (including complex
    business rules) of healthcare clinical and/or administrative data domains
  • 2+ years'
    experience with large data warehouse / big data projects
  • 3+ years
    hands -on experience with SQL
  • Previous
    experience with Agile / Scrum and other SDLC methodologies
  • Bachelor
    degree or HS Diploma/GED plus 4+ years equivalent experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's
    degree in related field
  • Experience
    analyzing and manipulating unstructured data
  • Rally (Agile
    development lifecycle application)
  • CMS
    (Medicare/Medicaid) data/business experience
