The Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut has embarked on a business diversification strategy and one
such area they are focusing on is the development of food and beverage restaurant franchises. They have
entered into a multi-unit development agreement with AROOGAS , a rapidly growing and award winning
Grille House & Sports Bar, to open 16 AROOGAS franchises in various counties in CT, MA, and all of RI. This
agreement offers significant career growth potential for dedicated and motivated employees who want to
be part of the Mohegan AROOGAS restaurant team. The position below represents a position in the first
Mohegan owned AROOGAS franchise which is planned to open in UNCASVILLE, CT in February.

Summary of Position:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for operating the dish machine using proper levels of chemicals to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation are met.

Essential Duties:

1. Buses, sorts, rinses and racks dishes.
2. Tests dish machine’s functionality at the beginning of each shift, and also checks the
3. Places service ware in appropriate storage areas.
4. Maintains a clean, safe and sanitary working environment, free of standing water.
5. Preforms proper care and maintenance of dish machine according to standards, including
6. Assists in the service flow throughout the restaurant.
7. Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
8. Assists in overall restaurant cleanliness and maintenance.
9. Removes trash from restaurant to dumpster area.
10. Mops floor and assists with restroom maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read
• Oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail

Education, Experience and Training:

• Six (6) months of experience in a high volume restaurant setting

Physical Demands:

• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time

• Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and nights
