E-Commerce Associate Manager – DPSG Headquarters - Plano, TX





The successful E-Commerce Associate Manager is a executional role within Dr Pepper Snapple Group’s eCommerce / Digital Shopper Team designed to develop and execute the sales and distribution of our brands online. This position requires the individual to develop a broad view our organization and a total understanding of our brands marketing objectives. This person will ensure that internal and external stakeholder’s goals and expectations are managed, goals are achieved, deadlines are met, and key deliverables are aligned with corporate objectives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience; familiarity with current and emerging digital platforms, including popular websites, communication channels and applications. They will have proven ability to influence; lead and project manage internal teams and/or external partners. Experience with CPG and/or retail would be considered a significant plus.

This position is located in Plano, TX with limited travel. Attention to detail, analytical rigor and strong project management skills are important elements to a successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executes and manages the day-to-day e-Commerce outlets activity through targeted digital shopper marketing.
  • Provides asset management oversight, ensuring all sites and product pages have the right product information, imagery, nutritional information, key features, and benefits information.
  • Provides competitive benchmarking. Assists with the development of strategy and creative content for e-Commerce.
  • Leverage demand insights and consumer learning to inform content creation, SEO and product pages
  • Consults with multiple marketing functions (brand, content, media, and insights) in order to develop e-Commerce solutions.
  • Assists with negotiations of contracts with major online outlets such as Amazon, Wal-Mart and Target.
  • Ensures that sales and marketing are abreast of what's new in the digital e-Commerce space as determined by authorized budgetary responsibility.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


Key Relationships

The Associate Manager must build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and other partners to facilitate superior execution of projects. This person will also serve as the lead on select projects, and will interface on a daily basis with sales, brand management, media, legal, insights, content, licensing and other members of the organization as necessary to facilitate interactive and emerging media strategies and execution.



Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 2 years of consumer-facing internet marketing in an account management or project management capacity, encompassing: online media planning and creative development, search marketing, website development, social media, email marketing and social media marketing
  • 2 years of experience using Excel, Word, PowerPoint; proficiency with Internet tools including major browsers and communication utilities
