What you will be doing
- Patrol the docks, keeping in constant radio contact with the office, assist customers and maintain safety standards on wharves.
- Assist arriving boats with docking at slip, amenity hook-ups, and sign-in on the dock.
- Cast off lines for departing boats and notify office of departure.
- Maintain and control ice inventory on each wharf, sell ice to customers, and notify office when supply gets low.
- Assist yachtsmen by providing information on local services and directions to town stores and advise them of concierge service for restaurant, hotel reservations
- Deliver mail to boats when directed.
- Perform all related duties assigned.
- Take meter readings.
