Electrical Engineer Job

Electrical Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Lake Forest, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Fabrication of prototype instrumentation, testing surgical consoles, subsystems and PCBs, using logic analyzer, high speed digital scopes and other electronic test equipment
- Perform preliminary validation and verification on products and subsystems
- Identify/define, analyze/quantify problems with senior engineer
- Electro-mechanical assembly, standard electrical test equipment, reading schematics
- Take on unfamiliar tasks and work effectively within tight timeframes

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- BSEE with a minimum one to two (1-2) years hands-on development experience
- Some analog design experience, including switching power supplies, motor control, and sensor conditioning
- Word / Excel knowledge
- Possess a demonstrated commitment to meet the deadlines
- Accustomed to working on a team in a hands-on engineering environment
- Flexible and well organized with initiative
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Medical device development environment experience
- LabView program experience with firmware programming
