Job Summary
Responsible for processing and managing customer accounts for billing purposes.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Ensures department updates and customer information corrections are updated in applicable databases.
- Performs audits to ensure accurate billings.
- Reviews the work of Billing Associates to ensure proper billing of the accounts.
- Follows up and takes appropriate action to resolve discrepancies and/or disputes with customers.
- Assists customers in understanding statements/invoices.
- Administers the preparation and delivery of monthly statements/invoices to customers.

Nature and Scope
- Experience provides solutions.
- Ensure that work is performed consistently with HD Supply policies and procedures.
- Leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.

Work Environment
- Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age
- Must pass the Drug Test
- Must pass the Background Check
- Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 5+ years experience in related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Supervisory Experience with a team of 5 or more direct reports in Billing/Accounting roles
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, practices, and reporting of financial data
- Job Cost Experience
- Proficiency with Computer Programs: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio, Outlook), 10 Key, SAP or similar ERP experience
- Knowledge and experience in installed sales and flooring or home improvement industry / products
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Ability to complete and follow up on assign task meeting or exceeding deadline expectations
