As a Sr. Associate Business Analyst, this individual will provide assistance and guidance to the business teams and technology teams for the Regulatory Data Services team in BT. Work on Corporate Flagship, Sprint and Data Release projects with concentration on Regulatory related projects and research.Under direction, this individual has duties of analyzing the business requirements, working with various business and BT teams in identifying the data elements and preparing detailed specifications from which programs are written. Work directly with business partners to understand data requirements at an attribute level and how business plans to use the information and work with architects to design efficient solutions.Responsible for quality assurance review. Also, responsible to collect Metadata for all the data attributes and identifying the ownership of these data attributes. Provide subject matter expertise in the analysis and preparation of specifications and plans for development/modification of the processes. Acts as project leader for projects with small budgets or limited duration. Responsibilities include determining the data and reporting needs from the Teradata Data Warehouse for our business partners.Document in Source to Target spreadsheets and Magellan tool. Coordinate work within the Decision Support department. Will need to lead Sprint sessions.Use knowledge of data warehouse data in order to work closely with business partners to determine and document requirements. Write SQL to extract data for ad hoc requests. Work with Data Modelers to make sure end results meet business needs.Follow PDP requirements.Leadership ResponsibilitiesProvides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional staff.
