Summary of Position:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for controlling the quality assurance and traffic flow necessary to ensure the efficient operation between the front of house and back of house. Ensures the food is cooked in the right order, according to menu and customer specifications and is presented to the customer in a timely and attractive manner.

Essential Duties:

  • Learns Arooga’s standards for product freshness and presentation for each plate and executes them in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Ensure that orders are cooked in a timely fashion so that all orders for a table are ready at the same time.
  • Manages traffic flow.
  • Explain special orders to the cook.
  • Notify servers when the kitchen is out of a particular menu item.
