Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for
reporting results for both internal client management and our E&I book of
business.




As a Senior Report
Analyst, you will grow and develop as you conduct and manage outcomes of various
research and analytics. You will be challenged to analyze, review, and forecast
data for clients and business planning. As a key resource, you must maintain a
high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and
written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to
always meet deadlines. Success in this role will require ability to prioritize
and multitask, as well as being flexible, resourceful, and self-driven!


Primary Responsibilities:

  • This role will
    support the commercial UHC E&I book of business and associated teams
  • Support client
    issue remediation by reviewing and analyzing pharmacy claims
  • Research and analyze data sets to identify patterns and trends such as
    client performance, drug spend, member utilization, formulary disruptions
  • Work closely
    with the account team and other functional departments 
  • Assess
    reporting results through data investigation, analysis, and evaluation 
  • Provide explanations, interpretations, and recommendations for reporting
    results as needed for Clients, Consultants, and Sr. Leadership
  • Demonstrate and apply understanding of health care industry trends and
    their drivers
  • Support various projects with financial impacts as needed

    intent to produce informative and actionable results
This position can be located in Cypress, CA or Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of previous experience within a Report Analyst or Business Analyst role 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required: V-lookups, pivot tables and conditional formula
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Access required: create tables, queries, joins, data manipulation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration
  • Knowledge of PBM and benefit structure
