JOB DESCRIPTION

We're currently seeking an Administrative Assistant 3 for a contract opportunity in Auburn Hills, MI. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world's leading suppliers of a wide range of products, solutions and services in the field of energy technology.

Minimum 5 years of administrative assistant experience , focus on

Procurement and supply chain management preferred.

Requirement: Advanced level experience and skills required for

MS Office products (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Associates degree, or equivalent. BA/BS preferred.

Knowledge of SAP strongly preferred.

Knowledge of procurement preferred

  • Answers, screens, and routes phone calls and emails from suppliers and potential suppliers
  • Provides responses to general SCM's internal and external customer requests
  • Organizes SCM meetings, teleconferences, and events; coordinates meeting logistics
  • Prepares presentations and materials; troubleshoots problems and special meeting requests
  • Coordinates SCM travel schedules, calendars, and appointments, as requested
  • Opens, organizes, and dispenses mail for SCM Team
  • Orders office supplies, phones, computer equipment, and any other tools and supplies required by the SCM Team
  • Provides on-boarding assistance for new SCM team members and provides ongoing training of team member where able to do so Assists SCM Manager/Supplier Quality Engineer with publishing quarterly supplier scorecards
  • Administrates entry of new suppliers into system (SAP via SAS) using internal processes and forms
  • Holds and uses Pcard to use in execution of duties and to assist buyers with purchases where use of POs are not possible or desired
  • Notifies SCM Team of communications relative to SAS requirements for supplier payments and uploads buyer responses
  • Uploads SCM data on minority purchases to customers using customer web portals (e.g. Ford, Chrysler)
  • Compiles and posts SCM metrics and statistics, as assigned by the SCM Manager
  • Uploads reporting data using various global tools (e.g. eSmart, ProSupply, SharePoint sites) as required by local, regional, and global SCM directives and instructions
  • Generates and routes reports according to assigned schedule. This requires downloading data from various systems and databases (e.g. SAP, eSmart, ProSupply SCM Backlog Report)
