CNC Set Up Machinist - Full-time / Part-time

Qualifications:

-Sets-up, and operates CNC machinery. Trouble shooting production parts that do not meet print, making the necessary adjustments to correct product.

-Experience with 3-4 Axis machines and either HASS or FUNUC controls.

- Requires the ability to read, write and communicate efficiently.

-Runs metal working machines resulting in producing Quality product at or below standard cost.

-Uses mathematical calculations and their applications to determine product acceptability, corrective actions, and tool selection.

-Modifies programs in order to correct product dimensions or improve production efficiency.

-Recognizes need for and changes worn or dull tooling in a manner that minimizes down-time.

-Reads & interprets product blue prints, including geometric tolerance notations.

-Checks parts for conformance and any other applicable quality standards. Use items such as micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, go/no go gages and any other measuring instruments, as required.

-Uses mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities to troubleshoot and modify fixturing using traditional metal working equipment.
