Hydraulic Maintenance Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

A company in Laguna Hills specializing in Fabrication, Installation and Repair of Hydraulic Systems & Power Units is looking for a Hydraulic Maintenance Mechanic. We’re looking for someone with a good, general mechanical background and aptitude. The company is willing to provide training to the right individual. This is a temp-to-hire or direct hire opportunity and the compensation is based on experience.

Qualifications we’re looking for:

• 3-5 years of experience performing hydraulics maintenance is preferred
• Experience in welding, cutting and brazing is helpful
• Working knowledge of Electricity
• Must have knowledge of hydraulics…experience with furnaces is a plus
• The ability to read and interpret blue prints….some training is available
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift certification
• Able to report on time and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism
• Must be able to communicate (speaking and writing) effectively in English
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; bend, climb, stand and stoop
• Must have a current California Driver’s License and clean driving record
