Program Coordinator

Our Program Coordinator in Mt. Vernon, IA provide assistance to individuals in a community-based setting. Program Coordinators facilitatethe implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in a rangeof administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling andoversight. In addition, Program Coordinators may provide support to individualsreceiving services, including: assistance with daily activities such as mealpreparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care. ProgramCoordinators may also facilitate community involvement by accompanyingindividuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work orother activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years related work experience
• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Valid registration and vehicle insurance
• Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
• Supervisory experience preferred
