Job Description:
_______ is a job shop that machines parts typically for dies. Currently 50% of their business is automotive, while the other 50% comes from various industries (cookware, refrigeration, aerospace). They have a current position open for a CNC Mill (Vertical Machining) operator and programmer.
? This person will be required to take a set of prints all the way through production. They will have to be able to program on Mastercam, and operate the machine with precision. If they don?t have experience programming with Mastercam, ___ will consider candidates who have strong experience editing G&M codes.
? Pay range will go from 18 - 24 based on programming ability.
? Shift is ideally 1st shift from 8a ? 4:30p with OT when needed.However they can be flexible on hours and star times within reason. They have great working conditions i.e. air conditioned shop, great benefits. they will consider someone who is very strong at editing G&M codes, but cnc mill vertical machining center experience is a must have. He will ask a couple trig questions in the interview to make sure they know some #'s. His interviews are very up front, he goes through their resumes and then basically asks if they can do the job and tells them he will give them a shot but if they can't do what they say he has to let them go. Work Environment: air conditioned shop, job shop environment with typical deadlines to that industry. They have new machinery in this plant as well. Qualifications: minimum experience 3+ years experience on vertical machining/mills.
preferred: programming experience. they use mastercam "x - versions". Performance Expectations: Interview Information: he can usuallymake time around 10am, but his schedule changes often.
