Produciton Planner

Responsible for the planning, scheduling and release of the complete manufacturing package to production for the manufacture of finished goods in order to meet our On Time Performance Goals, Integrated Planning Goals, WIP and Inventory Fitness Goals. Adhere to all related documentation and material expediting processes while maintaining established inventory, quality, productivity and safety goals and standards in accordance with corporate and site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or related work experience in material, production or operations planning with Supply Chain management and/or Customer Service
3-5 years' experience in finished goods production planning and logistics.
Solid working knowledge of SAP SD, MM, PP
Proficient in Microsoft office applications Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to effectively communicate (written, verbal, and presentation) with all levels of the organization.
Strong desire to grow within the operations organization to higher levels of responsibility.
Excellent time management, organizational skills, critical thinking ability, and ability to multi-task.
Attention to detail with exceptional follow up abilities.

Preferred:
APICS CPIM certification or CPSM/CPM Experience with Sales and Operations Planning; prior experience working with sales forecasts Microsoft office applications Access, PowerPointLean Manufacturing experience desired Experience/working knowledge of planning BOMs.
