*** This is a Telecommute position that will be located in either Maryland Heights or Eden Prairie. Could be located in a UHG office if commutable distance and desired ***
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and direction through multiple layers of management and senior level professional staff
- Work most often impacts a large business unit, or multiple markets/sites, or at the segment/market group level for functional staff positions
- Develops and executes strategies for a function or discipline that span a large business unit or multiple markets/sites
- Directs others to resolve business problems that affect multiple functions or disciplines
- Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple functions and/or customer accounts (internal or external)
- Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit
- Drives performance through audits and coaching to team personnel to ensure products and services fully meet the client expectations while maintaining efficient and profitable operational delivery
- Managing and auditing in-bound and out-bound call center
- Managing vendor relationships as appropriate
- Ensure quality standards are met for both internal and external clients
- Assure the onboarding and training of new and existing staff to support product growth and service enhancement
- Fiscal and operational discipline and management

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience
- Medical / Healthcare industry experience
- Customer service management experience
- Knowledge of Benefits and Claims Systems and Operations
- Strong inbound and outbound telephonic skills
- Teambuilding and leadership skills
- Effective skills in motivating and mentoring others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of call center performance measurement systems and metrics (i.e. ASA, AHT, Service Level)
- Computer skills and technical aptitude, familiar with MS Office
- Project/Product coordination/management skills
