PROVIDER STRATEGY COORDINATOR-Health Plan

Our client, a large health care administrator, catering to the needs of underserved patients in the Los Angeles area is looking for strong administrators like you. The Provider Strategy Coordinator supports other Provider Network Operations (PNO) staff especially Payer Analytics & Strategy staff and Sr. Director of PNO by handing the administrative functions of the contract analysis / presentation of analysis / negotiation strategy process including intake, logging, tracking and status follow-up of upcoming Payer Analytics & Strategy Project Routing Application and other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple assignments in a high-paced environment

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong customer service & organizational skills

  • Must be detail-oriented and an enthusiastic team player

    Preferred:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Visio

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of database concept

  • Knowledge of the Covered California, Medi-Cal, Medicare, Health Families, Health Kids and IHSS product lines

    Education:

  • Associates Degree or min. 2 years of college required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or min. five(5) years of equivalent work experience in finance, managed care, contracting or other health care organizations
