Healthcare Insurance Claims Processor

We have a full-time opening for a Healthcare Insurance Claims Processor.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Staffmark is currently hiring Healthcare Insurance Claims Processors in the Austin, TX area!

These temp-to-hire claims processing positions offer fulltime hours, weekly pay, and for the right person, a chance for a permanent position with one of the nation's most well respected insurance companies in the country!

Claims Processor Overview:

- In depth, one-on-one paid training for first 2-3 weeks

- Hours 8:30-5:30pm, Monday- Friday

- Salary $17.00/hour

- Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of claim processing experience (long-term care, disability, worker's compensation, medical).

- Must be highly proficient in interpreting insurance policy language and understanding differences between various policy forms and benefits affecting claims processing.

Responsibilities for Claims Processor Include:

- Reviewing and processing long term care claims as well as writing letters and explaining benefits to insured's and family members.

- Position requires the ability to respond to status inquiries concerning claims with excellent customer service skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills required.

- Maintain positive team oriented attitude and ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changes as necessary.
