About this job

* Assists Comptroller with financial reports.
* Maintain OSHA logs, complete accident reports and submit to insurance agency as required.
* Review company policy annually or more often as changes are made. Ensure that employees receive and sign the current policies and/or any changes thereafter.
* Creates and maintains employee files from date of hire through last day of work to include enrollments into 401k, health insurance, etc.
* Maintain/Complete Certified Payroll
* Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts to general ledger.
* Handle daily office duties for multiple jobs.
* Enter all bills/Invoice into ComputerEase.
* Creation of Collections report and follow up with clients and project managers on outstanding collections.
* Maintenance of employee PTO.
* Maintenance of credit card accounts, ensuring completeness of information, confirming all receipts are attached and entered.
* Summarize details in separate ledger and transfer data to general ledger
* Reconcile and balance accounts.
* Compile reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
* Calculate employee wages from records and prepare checks for payment of wages.
* Prepare withholding, social security, and other tax reports.
* Generate monthly statements to customers.
* Complete records to or through trial balance.
* Prepare bank deposits, bank reconciliations and input into accounting system
