Sr Electrical Estimator - Highway Lighting

Aerotek is currently working for a large general contractor that is a heavy highway specialty infrastructure contractors that specializes in signing, lighting, traffic signals, ITS, tolling infrastructure, utlities construction and maintenance. in the DMV Metro area. They are currently looking to add a Sr Estimator to their growing team to help out with winning both DOT and Fiber Optic based projects in the DMV Metro area.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate projects for the Transportation Authority and the State Highway Administration. Essentially will bid, buy, build, and bill all of the projects. Estimate new projects out for bid and manage them upon successful award.
• Handle negotiations with vendors and Subcontractors during the project kick-off phase, and allocated all manpower and equipment needs during construction to efficiently exceed budgetary expectations.
