Warehouse Associate - Full-time / Part-time

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all inbound and outbound customer shipments. The associate will manage the products and inventory, and provide access to timely information on merchandise and services. The associate will manage the various stages of freight flow in a distribution environment with an outstanding accuracy and productivity record. From the inbound process to outbound shipments various functions are performed to ensure accurate and timely delivery to our customers. Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are required for this very important work. The Distribution sector is the place where we match the products to our customer's needs and help to ensure their business success! GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for the replenishment of products to the primary location to ensure adequate availability for picking. Pick customer orders selected directly from primary product locations within the production areas Verify information on location labels and customer packing lists to maintain high accuracy. Responsible for maintaining daily individual production records. Report errors in production selection or quality to ensure correct shipment. Package customer orders for shipping that have been picked and loaded onto carts. Moves, loads, and unloads products within the warehouse from reserve storage to primary storage manually on foot, by cart, or manual pallet jack. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience: Proficient with basic math and communication (oral and written). Must be able to use a headset for interactive communication with our voice-directed picking system. Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, etc). Ability to lift or maneuver 50 pounds. Ability to grasp, bend, stand, reach above shoulder height, and walk extensively throughout the warehouse. May also be necessary to use step ladders to perform tasks involving climbing and reaching Additional Preferred Skills: High school diploma or the equivalent preferred Prior warehousing or related experience.
