The North America Interest Rate Derivative Product Control team within Investment Bank Finance and Business Management is a New York-based group that provides finance support to the NA Swaps, Options & Exotics trading desks in the Fixed Income space. The desk's mandate is to offer solutions to its clients primarily through interest rate derivative products, including but not limited to interest rate swaps, options, swaptions and inflation-linked products along with structured note issuances and cash products. Through partnering with financial control, front office, business management, middle office and operations, the Product Controllers are tasked with the production of daily P&L/risk, balance sheet capital management and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements, while driving the control agenda across the business. The Product Controller's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Daily Participation in Project Update reviews of outstanding issues and short term deliverables Reporting and status of Outstanding Reconciliation issues to Technology and Senior Product Controllers Working with Financial Control and Product Control to maintain Parallel Production environment in Orion Architecture Assisting in any further workloads as required for Project Deliveries Implementation of Strategic P&L and Risk Aggregator along with associated upstream/downstream dependencies Daily risk based (Greek) P&L Explains, understand the P&L drivers at both a deal-level and macro-level and provide commentary to senior management Production and consolidation of daily profit & loss reports Work with Middle Office to ensure trade bookings Investigation and resolution of P&L estimate vs actual differences Daily interaction with front office to ensure 100% P&L and Risk sign of Work with financial control team to ensure the general ledger ties to front-end P&L (DRR) Work closely with Market Risk Coverage to report, validate and reconcile key risk metrics in VARS Participate in process improvements and projects impacting current P&L and risk functions Ensure the overall integrity and validity of the financial statements Provide analytical support to the business via various financial and management reports Submit accurate and timely reporting disclosures, including but not limited to RWA, FVM/FVO, Reg. Cap & External Reporting requirements Understand the legal, regulatory, compliance, credit, market risk management, tax and accounting issues as they relate to the product or booking entity The candidate must be highly-motivated and able to shift focus between tasks with relative ease. The individual should also be flexible enough to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities, and be comfortable dealing with a sometimes stressful and fast-paced trading and month end priority-driven environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Mathematics Previous experience (5+ years) in a Product Control, Middle Office or similar P&L/Risk-focused role Derivative product knowledge, understanding of Greeks Comfort liaising with senior team members and Front Office Strong analytical skills Ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment Excellent desktop/spreadsheet/database skills - preferably VBA Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Time management; organization and prioritization of tasks, setting own deadlines and working to defined targets Additional Details: Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour Employment Type: contract with the possibility of being hired Integrity Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
