Quality Assurance Inspector - Full-time / Part-time

Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Works in a manufacturing fast-paced environment
• Samples, sorts measures and inspects incoming components and raw materials to the company’s blueprints or specifications.
• Inspects finished product 100% to checklists and inspection procedures
• Inspects in process production as required.
• Label and segregate the items that don’t meet requirements. Notify the supervisor and other responsible parties. Report all deviations.
• Prepares required inspection reports
• Knowledge of ISO procedures and requirements.
• Some lifting up to 40 lbs. (Assistance available for heavy lifting or moving of product during the inspection process and when inspection is completed).
• Proficient use of calipers, micrometers, steel hardness testing and other equipment.

Education and Training:

• 2 to 3 years previous QC / QA experience from either the pharmaceutical or dietary supplement industry, preferably in manufacturing (compression, encapsulation, blending, pharmacy), however packaging is acceptable
• Associates Degree or Quality training and certification
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Must be open to working OT as needed
