Packaging Technician

Aerotek Scientific is actively recruiting for a prominent Pharmaceutical company for Packaging Technicians. The qualified candidates will be responsible for:

• Working on automated machinery operating bottle packaging equipment.
• Perform set-up, operation and cleaning of designated pharmaceutical equipment in Manufacturing departments
• Be able to perform changeovers on different types of pharma equipment including packaging fillers and bundlers
• Perform in-process testing as determined by batch record.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow directions as outlined by batch record and/or SOPs.
• Ability to document and/or write comments to batch record with assistance from more senior technicians.
• Maintains adequate right-the-first-time documentation results.
• Possessess mechanical aptitude and/or ability for basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to assess quality concerns.
• Ability to learn common problems and trouble shooting techniques with equipment through extensive use and increased knowledge.
• Appropriately utilized personal protective equipment at all times.
• Understands protocols for resolving equipment issues. Incumbents at this level are generally trained to perform simple, routine tasks that may be highly repetitive in nature.
• All activities are closely supervised and work is reviewed upon completion.
• Adhere to expected levels of conduct, including attendance and appropriate, professional behavior.
• Adhere to proper cGMP's including good housekeeping, proper protection of product quality and integrity, and personal hygiene.
• Know and understand key department objectives, such as safety, quality, and output.
• Repeated lifting is required for an approximate weight range of 1 to 15kg (up to 50 lbs) for 6-8 hours per day.

Requirements include:

• High School Diploma
• Production experience

**Positions are for 2nd and 3rd shift.**
