Installer - Full-time / Part-time

One of the last Lockheed Martin Super-Constellation (L-1049G) in existence is being restored to airworthy status. The project was supposed to take 3 years but upon further inspection there was a lot of corrosion. Now that the structures work should be wrapping up in a few months they need to start installing all the systems. This includes hydrualic, pneumatic, O2 systems, hang engines, attach landing gear, rig flight controls. It is a bare frame now and everything needs to be added to it. First flight is scheduled for end of 2015.

1. Must possess onsite hand tools used for installations; specialty tools are supplied by the project
2. Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and prints from the manufacturers Maintenance Manual, IPC, STC instructions, service information, Airworthiness Directives and engineered drawings
3. Knowledge and proficiency in standard maintenance practices, tools and procedures related to installing components and attached structures
4. Knowledge in flight control installation and rigging
5. Hydraulic, deicing and other fluid systems installation and operations
