COMPANY
This is a five person architectural firm in Sugar Grove, IL that specializes in designing Senior Living Facilities, Outpatient healthcare facilities, retail stores, commercial office buildings, and multifamily residential. They are growing their operation to 10 or more people in the following year due to their increase in projects they have coming through.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Candidates will be responsible for wearing many hats and fulfilling a variety of responsibilities-great opportunity to learn the various aspects of an rchitecture operation
- Candidates will produce Construction documents using AutoCAD 2D under the supervision of a licensed architect.
- It will be a major plus if candidates can produce 3D renderings, but not a requirement
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of experience producing construction documents in AutoCAD 2D
- Experience working on Senior Living, Retail, Commercial Offices, and Multifamily residences - preferred, but not required
- Experience producing 3D renderings independently (personal projects or professional projects) preferred, but not required
- Photoshop, 3D Max, Sketchup preferred, but not required
- Experience drafting documents with wood framing and wall sections is a major plus
