Responsibilities

· Greet guests upon arrival and seat per designated seating plan, accommodating guest request as much as possible.

· Assists wait person with presentation of food and beverages.

· Assist with vacuuming and cleaning of all areas of Dining Room to ensure sanitation and quality appearance.

· Follow all DNC Parks and Resorts Environmental GreenPath, GuestPath, National Park Service guidelines and OSHA policies and procedures.

The essential functions are not all inclusive. You may be required to perform duties other than those listed above.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in a sit down restaurant preferred.

· Ability to communicate verbally with guests.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Exhibits teamwork skills and working well with others.

· ANSI Food Handler Certificate

Located next to Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon Park is composed of two distinct areas – Grant Grove (home to the General Grant tree, also known as "the Nation's Christmas Tree") and Cedar Grove. Grant Grove visitors snap photos and marvel at the sheer size of the sequoia grove. Kings Canyon is also home to Redwood Canyon, the largest remaining grove of sequoia trees in the world.
