Description

The purpose of this position is to assist the leadership team in overseeing warehouse operations. This position will be responsible for all customer order to ensure on time shipment. The person must possess a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Effectively and accurately wave plan workload and track appropriately.
  • Anticipate and coordinate scheduling needs and workflow to satisfy customer needs.
  • Train and mentor team members throughout the facility in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and Medline Core Values.
  • Ensure that all LMS observations are completed on time and are filled out accurately.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe work environment for DC team members. Including, retraining team members and supporting a safety culture through team meetings and activities to enhance safety awareness.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order receipt and shipment.
  • As a member of the DC leadership team this position will be responsible in ensuring accuracy of the inventory.
  • Perform slot checks and slot maintenance.
  • Supervise branch team members in various areas (i.e. shipping, replenishment, receiving, dock, etc.).
  • Assist with picking, checking, loading and processing inbound and outbound product.
  • Effectively communicate with branch management regarding daily operations.

Qualification

  • High school diploma. 1-2 years lead experience.
  • Candidate must have a high sense of urgency and customer service.
  • Ability to effectively speak before groups of team members and customers of Medline.
  • Have the ability to multi task in a fast pace work environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Operate MHE if necessary.
  • Proficient in SAP & Catalyst.
  • Proficient to read, write, and speak in English.
  • Proficient in arithmetic.


Physical Requirements: Move product, supplies, and boxes up to and over 50 lbs. Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, visual acuity-near and far, depth perception, field of vision, color vision.
