PPG Industries is seeking a talented individual for a Manager, Medical and Wellness Programs in Pittsburgh, PA. The Manager, Medical and Wellness Programs assists PPG locations, globally, with implementing non-occupational illness prevention, medical surveillance and occupational injuries and illnesses treatment programs. The incumbent is a member of the PPG Wellness Council which develops the health and productivity management strategies to enhance health of employees, their families and retirees, prevent disabilities, increase productivity and reduce health care costs. He/she is responsible for managing the PPG medical guidelines manual and working with SBU medical professionals and EHS staff to implement occupational illness medical surveillance programs. The incumbent manages the PPG General Office medical clinic. He/she manages the expatriate medical assistance program and coordinates corporate international travel programs.

The incumbent hires and supervises various consultants employed to advise PPG businesses on medical and wellness matters and supports medical and other EHS professionals throughout the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field with license to practice in Commonwealth of PA
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse certification (desired)
  • Minimum of 5 years occupational nursing experience
