MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the operational activities of the stores in the market (9 stores on the 4 islands).
  • Achieve sales plan and maintaining expenses set within budgetary guidelines.
  • Recruit, develop and motivate store staff in a highly effective manner (approximately 36 employees ranging from store managers to part-time retail sales associates).
  • Ensure proper development of store personnel by identifying training opportunities and by providing a positive coaching model.
  • Maintain appropriate pricing levels according to established procedures.
  • Be focused on customer service by ensuring that high service standards are maintained and customer issues are quickly and efficiently resolved.
  • Conduct routine store assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and loss prevention guidelines.
  • Ensure that the appearance of the stores' exterior and interior, including merchandizing displays, are maintained to required standards.


Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidates must be high energy, able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to learn quickly.
  • Must have a customer-centric attitude, and enjoy interacting with different types of people and personalities.
  • Must have 2 to 5 years of equivalent regional management experience ? retail operations strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of a High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
  • Must possess a high level of leadership acumen and the ability to think strategically and influence decisions at a high level.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer service experience with the proven ability to resolve customer complaints.
  • Ability to work and travel locally with assigned market up to 75% of the time.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications.
  • Broad knowledge of the application and use of paint and sundries preferred.
