The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a/an Billing System Production Support Supervisor for our IT Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:

Supervises the daily activity of a group of application analysts including a team of off-shore resources.
Ensures that the production support requirements are met by ensuring that requests are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

This includes but is not limited to application configuration, monitoring, production migration of custom programs, job scheduling, and application of software upgrades and hyper fixes. Serves as escalation point, assisting with resolution of issues.

Coordinates schedules to ensure appropriate coverage throughout each business day.

Sets the on-call schedule and approves vacation requests.

Provides coaching, training, evaluation, and discipline for team members.

Participates in weekly change management calls.

Coordinates and communicates maintenance windows.

Ensures that department policies are followed to ensure that internal, external, PCI and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements are met.

Acquires and maintains current knowledge of relevant product offerings and support policies to provide technically accurate solutions to hosted divisions.

Participates as team member to assist with conversions and migrations to IT hosted platform as well as other special projects.

Works closely with field and corporate staff to evaluate business requirements related to the use and configuration of various IT business support applications.

Responsible for documenting procedures and working with technical writers to publish user guides and support documents.

Assists with end user training.

Job Requirements:

Experience supporting a large production billing operation.

Experience supervising a group responsible for a large number of batch processes and complex schedules.

Experience with IBM iSeries hardware and OS V6r1 or higher.

Proficient with use of Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Visio

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer care.

Experience using automated solutions from Helpsystems such as Robot Schedule, Replay, Alert, Reports, Sequel, Abstract, and Esend.

Experience using help desk ticketing systems.

Exposure to Aldon ' s LMI software for change management.

Experience with PCI and Sarbanes-Oxley testing procedures and audit processes.

Ability to professionally document processes and create test plans.

Project management experience.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor ' s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
