Night Parking Attendant

Premier Parking is currently seeking part time night valet drivers from 11pm to 7 am 7days/week.

Compensation: -$12/hour (Including tips)

Summary: A Hotel Valet Driver should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a professional appearance and demeanor. Hotel Valet Drivers should also safely, courteously, and efficiently handle the parking needs of patrons and park and retrieve vehicles with a sense of urgency. Hotel Valet Drivers should also greet arriving and departing guest, offer ancillary services to guest upon arrival, provide luggage assistance, and any other services brought forth by the guest of the hotel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Responsible for being at work every scheduled day and on time
* Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive and maintain a complete uniform during each shift
* Drive each vehicle to/from the assigned space or area carefully, never tampering with radio, lights, or any other personal accessories or personal property of the customer
* Inspect each vehicle and write down any damage or information pertaining to the vehicle
* Report any accidents, observed or suspected violation of company policy, safety hazards, or anything unusual surrounding the vehicle or parking facility, to the Valet Starter or Account Manager
* Have a vast knowledge of surrounding streets, landmarks, freeways, or any other helpful information to be able to provide to guest whenever needed
* Respond to costumer questions, complaints or any other comments in a prompt and helpful manner
* Observe all traffic laws and safe driving practices
* Be able to work outside in any types of weather conditions
* Assist Valet Starter, Supervisors, or Account Managers with any additional duties as they become assigned
* Keep valet area neat and clean
* Adhere to all company cash handling procedures
* Flexibility to work off-hours, including nights and weekends

Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

* At least 18 years of age
* Prior valet driving experience preferred
* Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record
* Operate a manual (stick shift) transmission
* Ability to read, comprehend, communicate, and write simple correspondence
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and employees
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and able to perform these functions using US currency
* Reliable transportation to/from work
* Able to work 5-8 hours at a time
* Flexibility to move and lift items up to fifty (50) pounds
