This position is responsible for attracting top talent to fill open positions that address business need throughout Alcoa. In addition to identified needs, pipelines of talent must be built for key departmental and organizational needs. The position will include interviewing and referring applicants for all types of positions throughout the Company. In order to attract top talent, the selected candidate must have a proven track record as a high performer themselves. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prioritize and hire against tight timelines and deliverables and have the ability to refocus when business needs change
Act as the expert with the ability to draw on extensive knowledge of the recruiting landscape and be willing to dive deep to learn all functional areas
Represent the company as the face of Alcoa at recruiting events such as job fairs and other networking events
Collaborate with hiring managers to establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives
Research to build applicant sources through creative methods to include contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, internet sites, and other methods that are innovative
Sell the benefits of the organization's opportunities by establishing rapport and building a case for top talent to choose Alcoa
Craft and update job descriptions, requirements and qualifications for new positions uncovered during meetings with department managers and the business supported
Write compelling job ads that sell the company, describe position accurately, and explain benefits

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
3+ years of recruiting experience with increasing levels of accountability
Strong systems knowledge and ability with intermediate level skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficiency using key sourcing and search tools
Knowledge and expertise in internet data mining, professional networking, passive candidate cold calling and innovative sourcing techniques
Experience contacting, attracting, qualifying and converting high-potential prospects across all levels and disciplines through multiple channels
Proficiency using applicant tracking systems and CRM tools; ability to drive strategy on utilization and build / customize functionality of systems
A strong demonstrated business acumen with the ability to understand and interpret complex business needs and business structure
