Job Overview:
Macy's, has an immediate opening for a Soft/Prop Stylist in the Brooklyn Photo Studio. This position will report to the Senior Styling Manager, who oversees a team of staff and freelance stylists in a high volume photo studio and would work closely with the Director of Photographer, Senior Styling Manager, and Photographers to achieve brand right imagery for Macy's advertisements.
Essential Functions:
- Partner with Creative team to produce high quality digital shots for use in advertisements
- Collaborate with team of stylists and assistants
- Execute creative demands of the art department
- Maintain Macy's creative standards
- Oversee in house prop room
Qualifications:
- Styling skills for soft goods and propping skills for all areas of home product, including occasional light food styling
- Familiar with InDesign
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail orientated
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Awareness of current trends and a developed taste level
