Job Description: Maintenance Assistant
The maintenance staff is responsible for maintaining the store equipment to ensure that they are running properly. Some of the tasks in this position include performing general repair/maintenance of the Subway equipment, lawn and landscaping, some construction and demolition and basically anything that has to do with maintenance. This role is essential to providing customers with well-maintained facilities and quality products. You will need to be skilled in general maintenance of equipment and utilities of the facility. You must have some training in general maintenance to perform the wide variety of tasks required. You must have good communication skills and good personal grooming habits. Physical requirements include standing up to 8 hours during a shift and able to lift up to 100 pounds.
You could be our ideal candidate if you are:
* Highly motivated, self-starter
* Experience in a similar position or proficiency in a similar task
* Ability to identify equipment problems, assess solutions, and fix equipment as needed
* Ability to work as part of a team and interact with different levels from hourly team members, customers, vendors, and store managers
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule of days, nights, and some weekends
* Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
* Will train the right candidate
Pay is based on experience.
